this random but trying to mug is as difficult as deciding if simon baker is better than hugh laurie or vice versa. haha. it’s impossible to tell who’s better. i watched half an episode of the mentalist last night. it’s quite a nice show! shall add it to my list of shows to spam after ib
i’ve got nothing funny/interesting to post so here are some random parts of my waning days as an ib student:
while yuechin, ruthi, pam and i were walking out of school today after mathh:
me: ok i test you. who is the current prime minister of UK
pam: uhhh… barack obama
(which caused chin ruthi and i to go into a fit a laughter, and i accidentally spilt ribena on chin’s bag cause in the ensuing chaos we knocked into each other)
pam: wait wait let me guess again… uh BILL CLINTON. *silence* ok… john f kennedy??
me: NO!! it’s gordon brown
pam: ohh but i know marilyn monroe sang a happy birthday song to kennedy
/end (i think maybe i should get her an atlas and a subscription to the economist for her birthday, HAHA. i kid i kid.)
i was lying on the sofa watching tv after dinner
me: bj i feel so fat :( i’m oozing fats all over the sofa
bj: yeah you know what would happen if you go swimming in the sea?
me: don’t tell me… i don’t wanna hear -_-
bj: you’re cause an oil spill and kill all the marine wildlife, that’s what would happen :)

p.s. can’t wait for ib to be over… prom! so excite. (need to lose weight if not i’ll really start causing oil spills lol) but then it’ll be 5 days of intensive, exhausting shopping right after the last paper ie math paper3. BUT I DON’T MIND. mind-numbingly exhaustive shopping>mind-numbingly exhaustive examinations anyday, all day, 24/7. and not to mention lnat straight after that in early december!! and i should probably get a job after that too! like as a secretary or something. i mean i have all the way till august/sept 2010 before uni starts
p.p.s. mom’s coming home from shanghai today!! :):) yay got crabs to eat :D

OH RIGHT there’s a meteor shower today!! that was like the whole purpose of my post before i got distracted with the whole hugh laurie/simon baker thing. it’s at 1-3am at night/early morning. dunno if i can see it though! but i really wanna make a wish. other than getting above 41 point of course! cos like, it’s a meteor shower so you can make more than one? but the other wish is secret, i donch tell you what it is :) heehee

the part at 06:13 when they get out of the car at the middle of the road and start dancing is sooo funny haha. the construction worker walks past and he gives this face like, ‘what the’! after watching this i didn’t think paris hilton is so bad, she seems to actually be a nice person?
and as pam would say it, i baoed the physics paper today. haha. like paper 1 was so totally screweded up. i didn’t even have enough time to finish the whole thing so at the last possible moment i ended up shading option c for all of the last 10 questions that i didn’t have time to fill in. well, the only consolation was that i found out i got 3 out of those 10 questions correct. yippie.
hmm halfway through prelims and already i’m so tired. i can’t even study properly after dinner because i get so tired and can’t focus. :( after ib i’ll start doing stuff again, like painting! watercolours and acrylic :D but i think my art skillz are non-existent now after years of non-use. :/ hmm what else. i’ll go to the beach more often! AND I’LL FINALLY WATCH RESERVOIR DOGS and all the movies in my to-do after ib list. and maybe i’ll learn how to cycle (somehow), and exercise more. like learn some martial art! i wanna learn boxing. haha. then next time if you go to big cities overseas you can learn to defend yourself when you’re mugged or something.
oh well. guess i’m planning too far ahead again. gotta work harder for prelims or i really cannot get into a uni. :(
p.s. the weather is so nice and cool now :D it’s a perfect day to be on the beach playing volleyball or drinking martinis. or something.

anyway in the weekend i resolved to wake up at 9.30am to do work. buuuuut it never worked out. the earliest i did was like 11am. which is so early omg. that was on saturday because i have math tution at 12.30.
so anyway today i watched terminator 2018. is that what’s it’s called? i mean the one with christian bale in it. hmm i prefered dark knight. he was more buff there HAHA. no i kid. it’s just that i never got the whole paradox time loop thingy…. i just… didn’t. ohoh and i watched charlie’s angels full throttle on channel 5 too. i must’ve watched it at least 3 times cos it always shows on tv. anyway the highlight of the movie was when i saw shia labeouf with his ginger afro ‘do. he looked so young then! heh
anyway i did a bit of cosmetics (not makeup) shopping today. i bought shampoo from asience, balmers’ body butter, some veet cream and facial wash from vichy. oh and i bought the watson’s card and a caramel mocchiatto (is that how you spell it). anyway the total was a whopping $70 dollars. wow. and to think i wanted to buy slippers too.
speaking of slippers, my grandma is damn angry at me because she says i keep buying shoes. she says i have enough shoes to open a shoe shop. well she says that for everything; i have too many bottles (like creams and lotions) so she says i can open a beauty shop, one time she claimed i had too many bras so she said i could open a lingerie shop, then i have too many pens also cannot, must also open stationery shop. so anyway when i left for northpoint i mentioned in passing that i wanted to buy a pair of slippers (because my old black pair broke… and i don’t have any other slippers without heels) and she was like NOOO!!! literally shouting at me:
“SO MANY SHOES STILL WANNA BUY SHOES”
“no but waipuo i don’t have slippers!!”
“you have so many pairs of slippers you still wanna buy slippers huh! i take out and show you all your shoes! can open shoe shop already!”
“yeah yeah ok fine i’ll see when i come back” *leaves house in hurry to avoid further conflict*
so lo and behold when i came back she took out all my shoes and lined them up at the shoe cabinet. ok, i admit i was kinda shocked because i didn’t think she was serious. and also because i saw them all lined up side-by-side for once, and it stretched the whole length of cabinets. buuut well i mean i don’t really have that many pairs of shoes… i counted, it was only 15 pairs (excluding sneakers and trainers) my parents say i’m turing into imelda macros but hey, at least i don’t spend a fortune on ONE pair of shoes. and she has 2000 (or is it 4000) pairs of shoes and all of them are either louboutins or manolo blanik or whatever super extravagant brands!! all of mine are cheap stuff. and they don’t cost that much in total anyway.
when ever i buy clothes or bags or shoes or whatever i have to sneak them into my room and hide them… and lie about their prices. if not my grandma will freak. “$30???(when it’s actually $60) SO EXPENSIVE???? do you know that’s 150 dollars in renmingbi!!! lol i can imagine her voice now.
oh wellos. there’s physics remedial tomorrow so i have to go school. =_= can you see the eyebags under my eyes already.
too bad she got eliminated on the first episode though!

moral of the story: if the animal is alive it is not okay to kill it to make it into a fur coat, but if it’s already dead from old age or fighting other animals in the jungle then you can just take the skin off to make one

who needs any more of the little-kid-big-voice singing act? or the cookie-cutter hiphop dancing group? what we need is variety! heck can you imagine this act actually performing in front of the Queen of Britain?? i can totally imagine her expression, like (c):E (hahaha thats a jawdropped expression with the thing at the back of the throat showing, and the crown on her head)
